About W.K. Reed Whiskey: W.K. Reed was a little-known California copper legend lost in the shadows of the gold rush. In 1860, he founded the town of Copperopolis, which hosted characters from the notorious stagecoach robber Black Bart to the electricity pioneer Nikola Tesla. The founders created W.K. Reed Whiskey to be as versatile as copper, making it a workhorse in any saloon. It is a California whiskey made from a mash bill of 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% barley, and was blended specifically for making cocktails.
